| Notes | Black and white studio portrait of a man, identified as Enos Yakima E. Canutt (1896-1986), in cowboy attire holding a rope. He is dressed in a wide-brimmed cowboy hat, long sleeved button-up shirt, bow tie, decorative belt with large buckle, leather chaps, and cowboy boots with attached metal spurs. Strips of material are tied around his arms. The leather chaps are embossed with a floral motif and read, "The Round Up 1915". He was the winner of 1915 All-around Cowboy title. He is dressed in clothing worn during that 1915 competition. |

| Processing History | Scanned image enters Photoshop with negative polarity and has a reversed orientation. Archived Tiff is saved. Adobe Photoshop used to reorient and crop image, invert image to positive polarity, set and neutralize shadow and highlight point, adjust midtone contrast, and desaturate color information. Second production tiff saved, retaining adjustments layers. Photoshop used to convert color profile from Adobe 1998, to sRGB, set resolution to 125 dpi and resize the largest pixel dimension of the image to 875. Display jpeg saved after resizing. |
