Descriptive Title#100-101 P.R.L. & P. Co. (PGE-129-74) Series: Second 100-107. Built: PRL&P 1914. rebuilt from 100's. Type: Articulated city motor. Data: Length, 73". Four GE58 motors; K6 control Scrapped. Called "Shake cars, these were in a series of four pairs, each composed of two 100's linked by a suspended 12' center section. Operated by crews of two men. The articulated car was for about ten years popular among electric railways for its high capacity and low operation. Mechanically not perfect.
NotesBlack and white print. From album number 12. Articulated electric passenger cars number 100-101 sit on the railroad tracks in front of a water tower. There is a grassy field in the foreground.

Processing HistoryScanned image enters Photoshop. Archived Tiff is saved. Adobe Photoshop used to reorient and crop image, set and neutralize shadow and highlight point, adjust midtone contrast, and desaturate color information. Second production tiff saved, retaining adjustments layers. Photoshop used to convert color profile from Adobe 1998, to sRGB, set resolution to 125 dpi and resize the largest pixel dimension of the image to 875. Display jpeg saved after resizing.
