General NotesSeven Indians, including Parson Motanic, another man, three women, a child and a baby, ride in a Hudson Automobile down a street in town. Parson Motanic and the other man wear buckskin shirts and headdresses, one of which is horned. The women wear head scarves.
TCI NotesAn outside photograph of a family sitting in an automobile. They have been identified as the Parson Motanic family. Parson is the one behind the steering wheel. He his wearing an Eagle feather Bonnet, with a buckskin shirt. The young boy sitting in the passenger seat has been identified as the salesman son from one of the family members. He is wearing a Horned Headdress and a buckskin shirt also. In the back seat are three women and one girl. Starting from left to right are Mary Motanic, Esther Motanic, Dorothy Motanic, Sarah Motanic and the baby is Art Motanic, which he was moving as the photo was taken. The photographer was on the front right side of the automobile. In the background are a number of houses on both sides of the street. Writing on the photograph is "Parson Motanic" which is written behind the automobile, and "Maj. Moorhouse" which is written in front of the back right tire.
