He is also wearing blankets wrapped around his shoulders. He is carrying a staff in his right hand. The horse has a saddle blanket and blanket strips laid atop it.
TCI NotesAn outside photograph of a man dressed in his regalia standing in front of a horse. The man is wearing a single trail bonnet with horns on the bonnet. He is wearing a blanket around his shoulders which cover most of his body. In his right hand are an Eagle feather staff and a beaded bag with long fringe. The horse is wearing feathers on its forehead, beaded martingale with a geometric design, and on the back of the horse is a saddle blanket with a hide possibly a cougar attached to the blanket. In the background behind the horse is a canvas tipi with door open. Behind the man in the background is a wagon.

Capture MethodScanned in transmissive mode with Silverfast AI 6.0 on UMAX PowerLook III flatbed scanner. Levels adjusted from 0 - 1.00 - 255 to 22 - 1.00 - 176 prior to capture.

Processing HistoryScanned images enter Photoshop with negative polarity and have a reversed orientation. Archived Tiffs are saved. Adobe Photoshop used to reorient and crop images, invert image to positive polarity, set and neutralize shadow and highlight point, adjust midtone contrast, and desaturate color information. Second production tiff saved, retaining adjustments layers. Photoshop used to convert color profie from Adobe 1998, to sRGB, set resoltuion to 125 dpi and resize the largest pixel dimension of the image to 875. Display jpeg saved after resizing.
