General NotesA Native American man, identified as Poker Jim, Chief at Round Up, stands on a mat with a geometric motif and wears Native American clothing, including a buckskin coat with fringe, a headdress with eagle feathers, fur and other ornamentation, and moccasins. In his left arm he holds a rifle in a buckskin scabbard with beadwork and fringe. A fur is draped over his right forearm and in his right hand he holds a medal that is worn around his neck.
TCI NotesAn interior photograph of a tribal man dressed in regalia holding on to a medal. He is identified as Poker Jim. He is wearing a horned headdress with a single trail of Eagle Feathers down his back, a Buckskin Shirt. He is holding an unidentified medal in his right hand; we can see the back of the medal. In his left arm he is cradling a Rifle Scabbard. Writing on the photograph is "Poker Jim Chief at Round Up. This is written next to his head and œMajor Moorhouse is next to his right knee.
