| General Notes | An interior photograph of a Native American man identified as Ti-Car-Nee. He is sitting against a backdrop on a seat covered by a Pendleton blanket. On the left side of the photograph are miscellaneous leggings mixed with other unidentifiable objects. The man is wearing a beaded vest, a neck choker and loop necklace, and has fur wrapped in his hair which hangs down over his vest front. He has beads braided into his hair on his right side. He is wearing what appears to be a metal arm band on each arm. At his waist is a leather garment with beads extending towards the blanket floor. He is wearing beaded moccassins. In his right hand he is holding a hatchet style pipe that has a fur pelt hanging from it. |

He is wearing a beaded floral designed vest, Loop necklace, Hairbone bandoleer, and Otter fur wraps on his hair. In his right hand he is holding a hatchet style pipe. He is sitting on a Pendleton Blanket. Writing on the photograph is "Ti-Car-Nee" Walla Walla Tribe Maj. Moorhouse, which is on the middle left side in the photograph. In the bottom left corner is the number "4020." |
