| Description | A black-and-white sterographic photograph with the caption "Cape Horn, near Celilo, Columbia River". Printing on the cardboard mounting indicates it is number 1323 in the set of "Watkin's Pacific Coast" views of the western states. In the center of the photographs are railroad tracks, which stretch straight ahead following the river shore. Close to the left side of the tracks is the river. Only a few feet from the tracks on the right rises the rock formation known as Cape Horn. Between the tracks and the rock are telegraph or telephone poles. In the distance are the river shore, islands, and hills. |
