Building Oregon: Architecture of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest

Celebrate Oregon's sesquicentennial year by exploring the built environment of the Pacific Northwest.

Building Oregon: Architecture of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest provides over 16,000  images and documentation about the architectural heritage of the Pacific Northwest with special emphasis on Oregon’s built environment.

In collaboration with  the Oregon State Historic Preservation Office, many images in the collection represent works listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  A significant number of images come from collections donated to the University of Oregon Libraries over the years, including the collection of architectural historian Marion Dean Ross.
