The Columbia River Basin in Oregon is comprised of content in a variety of formats. The collection includes a variety of textual documents, still images, maps and aerial photographs. In the near future, multi-media items, such as audio and video will be added. This page is provided for browsing subsets of the collection based on the format and type of the item.

A variety of textual documents have been scanned and undergone optical character recognition to make the full text searchable. Items include complete monographs, journal articles, essays, letters to the editor and excerpts from government documents.

The collection contains many photographs, as well as color postcards and stereo graphs. These have been scanned at a high resolution in either color or grayscale. High resolution digital images, as well as traditional darkroom prints are available for purchase.

Aerial photographs of various dam sites along the Columbia River are being digitized. The inclusion of photographs of a given site taken over time will provide insight into the development of the site over the course of recent history. These images will be made available to researchers at a higher resolution. The high resolution images have been georeferenced and the data layers will also be made available.
